Help others not loose money via Sun Country's website

We tried to book a flight through the Sun Country Airlines website. Halfway through the transaction a pop states "we (Sun Country Airlines) are unable to complete the transaction at this time".

Two weeks later we tried again and were successful in booking our flight. Upon completing the booking transaction of the flight on our second attempt, we received and email telling us the conformation number and other various information relative to the successful booking. When we paid our credit card bill at the beginning of the month, low and behold Sun Country Airlines had completed the initial transaction but unfortunately there was NO email sent to us with a conformation number or other relevant information for the booking. We called Sun Country Airlines and they said we did not cancel our initial conformation within 24 hours so the charge was valid.

When I stated they never sent us any conformation regarding the booking that would have allowed us to cancel, they stated it was not their issue and we are charged accordingly with nothing we can do to get our money back. When we contacted the credit card company, the card representative said, "This is a common problem with Sun Country.". Never ever use Sun Country Airlines website to book a flight, they seem to have a tendency to rip off the customer ever so conveniently!

Should have gone with Delta as usual, Delta is a much more ethical and honest company to book a flight through while Sun Country Airlines doesn't seem to care if their customers are getting the "raw end of the deal" or not. Shame on Sun Country Airlines for being dishonest.

Damaged Luggage

Sun Country Airlines - Damaged Luggage
Ive recently traveled with Sun country airlines. upon picking my luggage up from baggage claim. I noticed that it was damaged. Due to the late arrival there was no office open for Sun country to make the claim. Once I contacted Sun country they told me I only had four hours to submit a claim. Devastated by the remarks made by an agent there was nothing they they could do.

Lost baggage

They lost my baggage on a return flight. Sun country found it a month later took pictures and said they were sending it to me. Waiting I called 3 times checking on it because it was taking weeks. On the 4th call they said they lost it again and to this day I still got nothing for it. Worst part it was my only luggage containing 8 outfits each for myself and 2 children and 3 extra pair of shoes

Letter of Recommendation for Flight Attendants

Luggage was lost both ways of trip

My son traveled to Las Vegas from DFW. He only checked his golf clubs.

He was going to Laughlin from Las Vegas to golf, roughly 100 miles away. When he arrived on Friday, the clubs did not. He traveled from Laughlin to the Vegas airport to because his clubs finally arrived. Sun Country flatly refused to pay for his gas or his time.

On second leg of trip, he left on Thursday snd AGAIN club's did not arrive.

After many days and numerous phone calls with numerous hours of hold times, his clubs were delivered to the wrong address. He had to drive over 200 miles to collect his clubs.

On his trip out, his clubs were lost for four days and he had to retrieve them, on his trip back, his clubs were lost for five days.

He drove over 600 miles to retrieve his luggage and was not reimbursed for gas time or even a mileage rate. Suncountry never returned, emails, nor cared.

I sent a certified letter to Jude Bricker, the company president thinking he would help. He did nothing not even acknowledge receipt of my letter.

You will have the pleasure of having a retired NAVY Officer flying on SY385 Monday Feb 19 to Ft Meyers. His name is Tom Almquist, and was a RIO on both the F4 phantom, and the F-14 Tomcat. I think it would be Great to have the Captian of the plane Thank Tom for his years of service flying for the US NAVY over the speaker system.

Complaint poor customer service

The employees need to understand the gate pass regulations and explain them correctly to family members with disabled passengers. There was a problem with the gate pass put my brother on the plane that I have gotten for the last 15 years flying with Suncountry and no one could explain correctly for what reason I could no longer have a gate pass that I came back and a supervisor overrode The policy and allowed me to escort my brother but the woman at the ticket counter was incredibly rude and argumentative and it just really made me disappointed about Suncountry because weve had such a great experience for 15 years my brother flies four times a year from Minneapolis to San Francisco.

The employees before Covid were so nice and everybody knew him , and now Howie he doesnt know whats going on or able to explain it and Kumal who overrode the decision and allow me to take my brother to the gate, would not give me the name of the person that was so rude to me to report her.

It was just so disappointing because weve been flying Suncountry for so long customer service is just terrible. Thank you, Melody Samuelson 707927****
